Keeping track of your clients' containers can be a complex and time-consuming task. That's why we've developed a system to make it easier for you. Our track and trace module is designed to help you stay on top of all your containers, no matter where they are - ready to be picked up at the terminals, en route, dropped at the customer, or in your yard.
Container Track and Trace Module allows you to easily track and trace containers from start to finish.
- Automatic Track and Trace: DrayMate TMS automatically tracks and traces every 180 minutes (from 6 AM to 6 PM) for all waybills in pending status. This means that the data we get from port/rail terminals is updated automatically, giving you the most accurate information possible.
- Automatic Data Updates: The data we receive includes container availability for pick-up, actual arrival time, estimated time of arrival, container status (such as arrived, grounded, customs hold, available for pickup, etc.), vessel and voyage, discharge date, last day of free storage, and more. Please note that the information we gather for each container may differ depending on the carrier and terminal (rail or port) available data.
- Manual Requests: In addition to automatic tracking, you can also send manual requests to port/rail terminals. This can be done by manually selecting the wanted waybills in the Waybills section or by clicking the small black square near the container number in the Dispatch Pending section. In the Waybills section, you have the option to save or not save the updates received from the port/rail terminals. In the Dispatch Pending section, updates are done automatically.
Using a web-based TMS (Transportation Management System) like DrayMate can make a big difference in how efficiently you manage the containers. With our track and trace module, you can easily keep track of any container, reducing the risk of delays, lost cargo, or paying the terminals storage or demurrage fees. The automatic and manual tracking options, combined with our dispatching features, give you complete control over your container locations. We can also keep track of other important dates, such as customer appointments, delivery dates, prepull/drop dates, yard dates, earliest return dates, etc.
